Tackling Antimicrobial Resistance: Prevention, Monitoring, and Counteraction

The fight against antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is one of the most urgent global health challenges of our time. To help promote awareness, the Società Italiana di Microbiologia (SIM) is pleased to highlight the upcoming Workshop on “Tackling Antimicrobial Resistance: Prevention, Monitoring, and Counteraction”, which will take place on November 10, 2025, at Area Science Park in Trieste.

The event will bring together leading experts, researchers, and healthcare professionals to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and discuss innovative strategies to prevent and contain antimicrobial resistance. Embracing a truly multidisciplinary perspective, the workshop will explore how advanced surveillance systems, precision tools, and emerging therapeutic approaches can collectively strengthen the global response to AMR.

By fostering collaboration across scientific and clinical communities, this initiative aims to promote a coordinated action toward sustainable AMR management.
